Formulate Leave-in Hair Conditioner

Purpose of Leave-in Conditioner

To formulate a leave-in hair conditioner, you need to know the purpose and how it is used on the hair. The conditioner is applied after you shampoo and condition. Generally, you apply to towel-dried hair before detangling and styling. This will provide extra moisture and an easy comb through.

The conditioner should always be light in consistency, almost like a hair milk. It can be used by all hair types. The added moisture is excellent for maintaining curls. It does not build-up on the hair. It should leave the hair feeling soft, curls managed, shiny and sheeny.

Directions for Use

  1. Wash and towel dry your hair
  2. Section your damp hair so you can apply evenly
  3. Apply leave-in conditioner to the ends and work your way up to the roots and scalp
  4. The conditioner should be equally spread through your hair
  5. Use a wide mouth comb to gently comb through the hair

Tips: Concentrate on applying the conditioner to areas that are drier, such as the ends. Massage these areas longer and apply more product.

  • I was signed up for a free 3 course on Clean Hair and Skincare and got the emails to let me know that they were ready. When I tried to watch the classes, there wasn’t anything.
I contacted you and the only I got was…”we may be offering them again soon”.

Joan Morais has been my go-to for years with her e-classes and all I get is you will offer them again real soon?

    When is real soon?
Why can’t someone just make the 3 courses available to me now? I don’t see what the problem is with that.
    Please help.

    • Hi Monica,

The Clean Beauty classes were up for at least a month after you received the email. The classes stated they would only be available for a limited short time. I’m sorry you missed them. They were removed once it cycled through the classes. It is not an easy process to put them back up again and that is why we can’t give you access. I am not sure when we will put them up again, probably in the summer.

      • Hello,
it is now summer so could you tell me when the 3 free courses on Clean Hair and Skincare will be put up so I don’t miss it this time?
