Facial Steams help improve circulation, balance the oils in the skin, open pores, release toxins, and absorb healing herbs.
~4 Herbal Tea Bags(try organic peppermint, chamomile, lavender or a mixture of herbs (I've listed a source for them below)
~2 quarts water(best to use filtered, spring or distilled)
-Put water in a large pot, bring to a boil, turn off, add tea bags, cover and let sit for 5-10 minutes
-Place your head directly over pot or pour into a glass bowl, being very careful not to touch the pot or water since they are very hot.
-Sit with the pot or bowl in front of you
-Place a towel or a large light cotton cloth over your head, lean your face over the steam in the pot or bowl and cover the pot or bowl creating a tent.
-Steam your face for 5-10 minutes
If it gets too hot for you, open the towel and let some cool air in.
