I’m having a Summer Solstice Party! Are you? Summer Solstice is the longest day of the year and marks the first day of summer. Summer is about having fun and kicking back. Start with changing just one synthetic and non-natural cleaning product that is used on the regular in your household for a natural alternative. In doing so you are making the world a better place for us all to live. Lets work together to make the world a safer and more beautiful place to live, starting within our own homes.

 

Natural Glass Cleaner

In a spray bottle combine the following ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon liquid soap (Try our all natural liquid soap here)
  • 2 cups of water

Spices are excellent to sprinkle on your foods and into your drinks. Spices benefit the body. Salt and pepper is a staple on most tables and sprinkled on most foods. Salt is used in abundance in restaurant food and processed food. Have you tried adding some tasty herbs to sprinkle on your food?

A great way to add spices into your food is to keep them on your table like salt and pepper. A lazy Susan works great. I learned about this idea from herbalist, Kami McBride and author of The Herbal Kitchen. I studied herbalism from Kami. I sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on my hot oatmeal cereal.…
